TACO TUESDAY: IN THE WOOD BERKELEY

My day started with plans for brunch at Berkeley’s La Mediterranee, but they were closed, so I opted for In The Wood next door, an American pub serving up good basics. Drawn in by the bright green and red patio furniture, I headed straight to the bar to look at the menu before deciding to go with outside dining in perfect 75-degree weather.

Once seated, I decided on the Baja Tacos and paired it with a classic lime margarita (on the rocks). My overall experience at In The Wood was enjoyable. The meal was good, the service was excellent, and above all I found the atmosphere chill and inviting.

For the look, I went for a fav this summer - the Mango x Simon Miller knitted fringe dress in green and accessorized with sea shell earrings from All Things Mochi and a fluorescent orange beaded bag from Etsy. To finish things off, I wore a comfortable pair of rattan mules from Dolce Vita.

It was a day of unexpected discoveries and beautiful moments. Sometimes, when one plan doesn't work out, you get something equally, if not more, amazing.
