MY FAVORITE DALLAS MARGARITAS SPOTS

If there’s anything in Texas you learn to love quicker than Buc-ees it’s margaritas. They’re good and they’re everywhere. Since relocating to Dallas, margaritas have become one of my favorite things along with queso (Torchy’s Green Chili to be exact). Here are my top spots for Margarita’s. Take your pick and let me know your thoughts in the comments.

Las Palmas - Uptown Dallas

FUN FACT: This was the first restaurant I tried in Dallas before relocating from So Cal in 2020, and it’s since become a go-to for very good reason. The margaritas here don’t disappoint and neither does their steak fajitas or flan. And if you know me, it’s no surprise - any place that does flan well has my heart. But back to the drinks: whether frozen or on the rocks, you can opt for a sugar or sea salted rim and both options add a really nice touch.

The ambiance here is also great for date night or a social gathering. Just Keep in mind after 6 PM Las Palmas is pretty much at capacity and seating becomes very limited. I’d highly recommend making reservations beforehand to have the best experience!

cantina laredo - Addison, tx

I’m a regular here (unashamedly), and for those in the Addison area or neighboring cities, I highly recommend checking out Cantina Laredo for a margarita night and an all-round excellent dining experience. In addition to the flavorful food and Texas portions, they’re famous among locals for the Mango Tres Leches Cake.

When I tell you, this is the only dessert you need - trust me. I’ve literally come just for the cake. Along with the drinks and dessert, the Camaron Poblano Asada is a great option made with shrimp, mushrooms, fire-charred skirt steak, chimichurri sauce, charred street corn, and cilantro lime rice.

Torchy’s Taco - Dallas, TX

I’ll need to do a completely separate post for Torchy’s queso (chef’s kiss). But if you’re looking for a good affordable option for margaritas, Torchy’s brings the fire with little effort, especially during happy hour. Lime, peach, wildberry, or strawberry (my fav) take your pick - they’re all equally delicious and pair even better with their notably “Damn Good Tacos". Speaking of tacos, my Torchy’s Tacos of choice are: Baja Shrimp, Bushfire, and Mr. Orange.

Pro-Tip: For the nights in-house -Tres Agaves Mango Chili Organic Margarita Mix with a good Tequila blanco, is all you need.
