We offer free USPS Priority Mail shipping on all U.S orders. 

Most of our orders are shipped out within 1-2 business days of purchase from our warehouse in California, U.S. All orders are shipped via USPS. Once your order is shipped, we estimate you will receive your order within 3-5 business days of its ship date. Shipping times may vary, but we work our hardest to get your order to you as quickly as possible. 

We will email you a tracking number within one business day after your order is shipped out. Look out for this email so that you can track the progress of your order from our doorstep to yours! 

Please make sure your shipping address is correct. We are unable to re-direct orders once they have been dispatched - orders that are returned because of an invalid address may be reshipped at your expense. After an order has been delivered to the correct shipping address, we cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages. Any additional shipping costs are nonrefundable.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

USPS International Express: 5-10 Business Days $39.00

All orders are shipped out via USPS. Once your order has shipped, we estimate you will receive your order within 7-14 business days of its ship date. Please note that shipping times may vary.

All orders are shipped with Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU). Once your order is shipped, the carrier will bill you to pay all import duties, customs and sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to. 

We advise that you are familiar with your package destination's import duty, customs and local sales taxes as well as it's rules and regulations for importing foreign goods and products prior to purchasing. 

Please Note: At the moment we are unable to ship to the following countries: Ukraine, Saudi-Arabia, Certain countries in Africa, and the Pacifics. 

RETURNS & EXCHANGES 

We want you to be completely satisfied with your online purchase. If you change your mind for any reason, we’ll gladly accept a return of any full priced eligible item subject to the following conditions:

  • The item must be returned within 14 days of purchase together with original proof of purchase. We suggest all items are tried on as soon as they are received to ensure you are able to return items within the returns timeframe.
  • Items must be returned in original condition, unworn, unaltered, unwashed and with their tags attached.
  • Swimwear and Intimates - Customers must try on items wearing undergarments. If you wish to return an item, the tags and protective hygiene strip must remain in place and the item will not be accepted if either of these have been removed or altered, or if the item shows signs of wear.
  • Jewelry & Accessories - Due to hygiene purposes all jewelry and accessories are final sale and not eligible for return. If merchandise is received damaged, images showing the defects must be sent to orders@ladyalako.com and upon review an exchange or store credit will be issued.
  • Shoes - Please try on shoes on soft surfaces before they are worn generally. We will not accept shoes returned with sole markings or scratches. If you received a shoe box, this must also be returned with the shoes in original condition.
  • All sale items are final and ineligible for returns or exchanges.
  • Enclosed in your online LADY ALAKO order you will find your returns slip. This must be filled in and sent back with your return. Remember to fill in the returns slip with your name, order number, and the reason for your return. 

RETURNS

We will gladly accept returns or exchanges on our full priced eligible items within 14 days upon receipt of the merchandise. In order to complete any return or exchange, all items must be returned unworn and undamaged, with the Returns & Exchanges form filled in. All returns or exchanges are processed within 3-5 business days upon receipt of the merchandise. We will notify you via email once your return has been processed.

Enclosed in your order package you will find your "Return & Exchanges" form. This must be filled in and sent back with your return. Remember to fill in the returns form with your name, order number, and the reason for your return. 

For any return or exchange you will be responsible for shipping and handling charges to return any unwanted items. If the package does not reach us safely we will not be able to complete the refund, we recommend sending via a traceable method for peace of mind and to retain proof of postage until you have received confirmation that your return has been processed.

To return your order, securely pack and seal the merchandise along with the completed Return/Exchange form in an appropriate shipping box or envelope, and send it via an insured service to the address below. Please understand that we are not able to accept responsibility for packages that we do not ship ourselves.

Upon receipt of the items, they will undergo a quality review and once cleared, you will receive a refund or store credit for the purchase price directly to the original method of payment used for purchase. We endeavor to process refunds as soon as they are received but please allow up to 5 business days for returns to be processed. You will receive an email notification of the status of your refund once finalized.

EXCHANGES

If you would like to exchange an item, please place a new order for the item you want before returning your original purchase. This will ensure that your exchange item is in stock. Once we receive your return, we will process a refund for the cost of the returned item and send you an email.

FAULTY ITEMS 

Every product we send out is initially quality controlled, however if you have received a product with a manufacturing fault we will gladly replace it or refund the cost as long as it has been returned within 14 days of purchase. Please note that wear and tear in the course of normal use is not considered a manufacturing fault.  

If you have received a faulty item please email us at orders@ladyalako.com to arrange a prepaid return postage label. We will replace if stock is available or refund you upon return. 

 GIFT CARDS 

Gift Cards can be purchased and emailed to your friends and family. These are available in varying amounts and can be used towards the purchase of any items and will never expire. Please contact orders@ladyalako.com for more information. 

IMPORT DUTIES & TAXES 

 Import duties and taxes are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer and will be collected from you by the carrier upon delivery. 

I DO NOT WANT TO PAY THE DUTIES, CAN I REFUSE MY PACKAGE AND HAVE IT "RETURNED TO SENDER"?

Upon delivery, your package has already entered and has been cleared by your local government, and therefore, the customs duties and taxes have been applied. If you choose to refuse your customs duties, we cannot refund sales tax, or the cost to return your goods.

CAN I RETURN A PACKAGE WITHOUT PAYING THE DUTIES AND TAXES?

Once you have received the notification of your duty and taxes, your parcel has already been cleared by your government. If you intend to return your parcel, you, the buyer are required to pay the duties and organize for your parcel to be sent back to our return address. Upon receipt of your package we will refund in full the the cost of your order, minus any initial shipping cost. 

Please Note: We cannot recover duties and taxes on your behalf, these are payable by the buyer at all times.

We will refund you the cost of your items in full minus any incurred shipping costs if we receive your return within our 14 day return policy window.

Please Note: Duties and taxes are non-refundable through us. We advise you to contact your local customs directly regarding recovering any fees.  

ITEM AVAILABILITY 

If a sold-out item is purchased, we will notify you by email as soon as possible, and you have the option of a suitable replacement, store credit, or full refund.
